At Lalanna Design, we are committed to delivering your handcrafted pieces quickly, securely, and with the utmost care. Below you’ll find our shipping details for Switzerland, the United States, and for pre-order pieces that ship from Thailand, Delivered Duty Paid.

 

Shipping within Switzerland

We partner with Swiss Post for reliable delivery across the entire country.

• Standard shipping fee: CHF 4.20 per shipment (flat rate, independent of weight or size)
• Free shipping: On all orders over CHF 100 (calculated before taxes, duties, and discounts)

Processing & Delivery Timeframes within Switzerland

Unless clearly stated otherwise on the product page or at checkout:

• Orders received on a business day (Monday–Friday, excluding Swiss public holidays) are typically prepared and handed over to Swiss Post within 1 working day
• Once dispatched, PostPac Economy deliveries usually arrive within 1–2 business days (Monday–Friday)

We work diligently to meet these timelines, but occasional delays can occur due to peak periods, carrier volume, or events beyond our control.

 

Shipping to the United States

We partner with Swiss Post (PostPac International with waybill / PDDP) for reliable delivery to the United States.

• Standard shipping fee: USD 25.00 per shipment (flat rate, independent of weight or size for standard parcels)
• Free shipping: On all orders over USD 100 (calculated before taxes, duties, and discounts)

Processing & Delivery Timeframes to the United States

Unless clearly stated otherwise on the product page or at checkout:

• Orders received on a business day (Monday–Friday, excluding Swiss public holidays) are typically prepared and handed over to Swiss Post within 1 working day
• Once dispatched, deliveries via Swiss Post PostPac International usually arrive within 4–8 business days (Monday–Friday)

We work diligently to meet these timelines, but occasional delays can occur due to peak periods, carrier volume, customs processing, or events beyond our control.

All orders to the United States are sold Delivered Duty Paid (DDP). Estimated import duties and related charges are calculated and collected at checkout. We arrange clearance and prepay these amounts. The carrier should not request payment on arrival. If a carrier still requests payment, do not pay it. Email us at support@lalannadesign.com with your order number and we will sort it out.

 

Pre-Order Items ship directly from Thailand

Certain items are offered as pre-orders (Lanna furniture, spirit houses and any item marked on its product page) and ship directly from our artisan workshop in Thailand.

These feature:

• Free international shipping from Thailand, Delivered Duty Paid (DDP): import VAT and customs duties are already included
• Estimated delivery: 7–21 business days after order processing begins (exact timing on the product page)

Pre-order shipping terms are displayed prominently on each relevant product page. These timeframes apply regardless of the destination country (Switzerland or the United States).

 

Order Tracking

Once your parcel is handed over to the carrier:

• You will receive an email from us including your order summary and tracking number
• Track your shipment in real time via the Swiss Post website or app (for Swiss and US orders) or the provided carrier link (for pre-orders from Thailand)

Upon Delivery – Please Inspect Your Order

We kindly ask you to check your parcel promptly on arrival:

• Confirm all items are included as ordered
• Inspect for any visible damage or discrepancies

Should anything be missing, incorrect, or damaged, contact us immediately at support@lalannadesign.com. Please include your order number and clear photos of the issue. We will handle the matter quickly and fairly.

 

International Shipping (Current Status)

• Pre-order pieces (Lanna furniture, spirit houses and any item marked on its product page) ship directly from our artisan workshop in Thailand, free and Delivered Duty Paid.
• Other items currently ship within Switzerland and to the United States. We are working on broader international shipping.

 

Important Notes for International Pre-Orders and US Shipments

• Import VAT and customs duties are included in the price (DDP). The carrier should not charge you anything on arrival. If a carrier still requests payment, do not pay it. Email us at support@lalannadesign.com with your order number and we will sort it out.
• Delivery still depends on a complete, correct address and someone available to receive the parcel.
• Precise product descriptions are required by US Customs. We handle this on our side.
