This Lacquerware originated in Nantharam Village, Chiang Mai. The workshop has been operating since the Phraya Kawila era (late 18th century). It is currently managed by descendants of the original artisans. All products use 100% natural materials and traditional handcraft techniques.

Material: Made from carved wood, the pieces are coated with natural black lacquer tapped from the black-varnish tree. This coating gives a glossy finish and protects against water and moisture.
